Factory Shocks Too Stiff

I'd change to soft shocks to improve the ride comfort. Thought about KYB ones, however the reviews are mixed - some people say they're pretty much the same firmness with the factory ones; some even complain they don't last even a year.

Can you guys share your experience please?

A quick googles search says kyb gr-2's are the way to go. Some say bit stiffer all say better. Id just go with those. I've had them on many cars always did good.
