Hello,

I downloaded a factory manual for my 2006 Murano. It cost 19.99 and was great for installing my fog lights.

The website for the manual was called "tradebit.com".

1. Make sure you have a really fast internet connection and Adobe Reader loaded on your PC.

2. Make sure you have 1 - 2 hours

3. Make sure your credit card has at least $20 left on it

4. Go to https://www.nissan-techinfo.com, allow pop-ups

5. Register

6. Buy a 1 day subscription for 19.95

7. Search Publications

8. Search on Murano, All,English, 2009

9. Click on the eyeball under 2009 (CD) Murano Service Manual

10. The manual opens in Adobe Reader. Make sure you are looking at the table of contents left, page one right. If not click the Bookmarks tab on the left.

11. Save what you are looking at. It should ask if you want to save FWD.pdfYou do. Good idea: save it to a new folder called something like MuranoFSM

12. I want you to study the page on the right for a moment. See the white-on-black listing? Stuff like GI General Information? EM Engine Mechanical? Each of those is one PDF file you need to open and download to a new folder.

12. In the bookmarks area on the left (the contents), click on the plus sign next to A General Information

13. That explodes into GI General Information.

14. Click on GI General Information

15. After it opens, save it to the MuranoFSM folder (it will want to save as GI.pdf

16. After it saves, click on bookmarks if they aren't open

17. Click on Quick Reference Index and you will be back to the main page.

18. Click on bookmarks if they aren't open.

19. Repeat steps 12 - 18 for each item in the white-on-black list. It'll take about 45 minutes if you're good at computers and can sustain concentration. Otherwise, two hours and a couple of beers should do the trick.

20. When you're done, close Adobe Reader

21. Go to the folder and open FWD.pdf

22. Make sure you can open and read all the sections. Return to the site and download whatever you missed.

23. Otherwise, you're done.

HEY FXF!!!!

Welcome to NICOclub!!!! Glad to have you here! I did check out the pics of your Murano LE, they are sweet, and the red looks pretty sporty. Let us know how the turn signal things work out. I have not seen those before. I hope you enjoy NICO!

Thank you so much for posting these, that IP section will be great when I take apart my '09 to track down the squeaks from the center dashboard area!

Thank you smurfdawg for the link and info. I've been looking for a cheap way to get the service manual for some time.
