Hi, everyone. I have a 14 SV with factory remote start. The range sucks and it shuts off after about 10 mins or so. Does anyone know where the antenna is? I want to try and reposition it so the range is better. Also does anyone know if there is a setting to have the runtime longer (20-25) like most starters? I can't go another winter like this.
PS THE CAR IS A LEASE. IT GOES BACK IN JULY OR AUGUST, SO REPLACING THE FACTORY STARTER WITH AFTER MARKET IS S WASTE.

I don't think the range can be easily extended, although car thieves use some kind of signal amplifier. I believe you can extend the time up to 30 minutes. It should be in the manual.
