If I where you and just purchased the car I would...
Inspect:the belts for cracking / fraying the distributer cap and rotor (replace as its cheap)air filterplug wires (test the resistance with a multimeter)brake rotors pads and fluidpower steering (atf) fluid
Replace:Oil and filterTranny oil (filter if auto)differential oilcoolantfuel filterplugs
There are alot of things to inspect for a car you have just purchased, especially one that you do not know the prior history of... Some are maintenince items some are not. The replacements I listed I would do just so I know those are good, and to have a base to start from.
I could take some images of my 96 fsm (same procedures /intervals) MA section but you could also drive your new car up to a nissan dealer parts department and politely ask to see the FSM and have them photocopy them for you for free.
I know its vague but its late...
