Is there anyone (besides Nissan) that lists factory radios and install kits for 2009 Versa's? Tried on Ebay and did a Google search but I didn't turn up anything. I thought that by now I would have seen some listings.

Not sure which radio you are looking for, S, SL, etc. but I'd try Bob at VersaSpeed.com and see what he has in stock. I know he has the kits and he did just take out his factory radio for something else. He give you a good deal on his OEM radio.

Thanks. I'll try there. I have a stock 2009 1.6L sedan (radio delete version), and want something compatible with the existing wiring harness to install myself. Never installed a radio so the fewer wiring changes I need to make the better....

Will both the S and SL models fit my car, or do I need one vs the other?

any of the 3 Version from a Versa will plug right in, no messing with wires.

Buy one on Ebay or find someone here who upgraded and just plug and play.

Yes easy plug - n - play.

Up-graded our "S" Radio to an "SL" in less than 1/2 hour.

Found the radio on e-bay, paid to much for it but wanted to keep the stock look to reduce theft as the car is on campus.

Sold the "S" one on this Form for $50.00.

Keep checking this form in the for item sale and audio section.

Be patent and you will find one here. Need it faster keep checking e-bay as well.

F.Y.I. Aftermarket would be best bang for buck if you are into your tunes and the quality of the sound.

Good Luck

Being a newbie to this board, do I just watch the Audio forum posts or is there a separate place to look for items people want to sell?

One of the major section on this site is "Versa Audio/Video" & under the General Chat section the first thread is stuck at the top called "To post Buy Sell Stuff." Post in both that you are looking for an "S" or "SL" Radio. Like I said ebay might be quicker but will cost more. I think I payed $165.00 for an "SL" two years a go on e-bay (including S/H and some insurance for the stereo.

I got a neighbour selling his SL out of his 09 for $210 shipped, little on the pricer side but it is almost new as i was the one replacing it with a Navi system.

Thanks, I posted a WTB for a stock radio on the sticky thread in the General Chat area. Just looking for a basic radio....and not in a big hurry. I've been without one for almost a year, so a few more weeks won't be much of a problem.

I noticed the other day that the 370Zs come with nearly indentical radios to the Versa models, although each one appears to be a half-step better than what Versa's have. should be a direct swap. Cube radios are identical and will work- this has been tested.
