I notice that all of the s13's from 89-90 i see have that thick black stripe that goes along the car at about 12 inches from the bottum. But, i dont see it on the pictures of the 91 and up models. Am i just seeing alot of people who have removed this fomr their cars? Or did they stop putting this pointless thing on the car in 91? Thanks in advance

I have a 91 *or what's left of one* and it has the black stripe along the bottom. The guy who owned it before me might have put it on there after replacing the front clip though cuz it has an 89 bumper

i have tried to remove my molding, and most of it just came off really easily, felt like it was made out of like a think electrical tape, but then the rest of it is some **** that just flakes off, and i can't get it off, it's so tacky i have like only a few feet of molding on one side. How can i get this crap off? the only way i've tried is so far is goo-gone, which didn't really work at all, and then i know if i had more fingernails and a few hours on my hands i could get it off. this crap sucks it's so ugly

Use an exacto-knife. That's what i used on my friends white 89. Worked very well, but it took me a while.

use zippo fluid and a decal scraper (sold @ pepboys by the fiberglass/bondo/ cleaning agents-used to work there)thats the best stuff actually. who would have thought lighter fluid? and that scaper wont hurt your paint, its soft plactic

ok i got a prob guys that i need your help with lol, i got this nasty silver double pinstripe that used to go along the length of the car, my problem is that i went to take it off, and foudn the fender had been replaced with a fender that had pinstriping, these janky *** sum*****es painted over that pinstriping and put the ****ty vinyl stuff over it to cover it up... thats the worst part, so i have bumps on my finder, it pisses me off, second worst is, these ***holes put the vinyl pinstriping on the doors and then CLEAR COATED over them, so now i have bump pinstriping on my drivers side fender, and pinstriping on my doors, and thats it, nowhere else, it looks like ****, someone tell me what to do, cheapest way please, lol
