factory navi and aftermarket hu.. Question

hello all, im new to the site and have used the search button and cant find anything. I recently replaced the factory unit with a pioneer avh-p4200, my car has the factory nav unit that I would like to use. I dont really car to much about the audio part of it just for the map. Anyone have a "how to" so I can get power to it and make it work. Thanks in advance, oney

Welcome to NICO! I'm a bit confused as to what you're trying to do...are you trying to get power to the aftermarket unit? Or did you lose power to the factory NAV unit?

i lost power to the factory nav unit...

Did you do the install or a shop? sounds like they used the power from the NAV for your aftermarket deck.

A shop did.. Do you have a wiring diagram that I can see to check that out?
