I was just wondering if someone could tell me where the GPS antenna is located on G equipped with the factory nav system? I have noticed that I never see it on the top of the car like on many vehicles that have factory nav. I will be installing an aftermarket so was wondering if I should run it to the roof in the center back or just place it on the dash.

Corner of the dash would be good, try to place it out of view , it looks ugly when theres an antenna on top of a car to be truthful,

Toss the thing under neath the dash close to the doors \ windshield

The GPS antenna is located in the front dash by the defrost vents. It is built in to the dash unit not on the roof.

If a G has a back roof antenna it is 99% of the time a satellite radio antenna.
