Factory LSD out of a 180 into a 240 fastback?

Would a Factory Nissan LSD out of a JDM 180 bolt into a 240 fastback. came out of a JDM 180 going into a USDM version of the 180. Please help.

no i don't see why you couldn't, i mean if an s15 helical diff can fit in the 91-94 rear end i don't see why a 180sx lsd wouldn't
