In order to get a brighter output from stock HIDs, you gotta get aftermarket 55w ballasts and bulbs. However, I wouldn't give up my OEM Matsus***a ballasts for aftermarket ones.

You don't need to get 55w bulbs. 35w is fine. More wattage doesn't mean more light output.

i think your syntax is off a bit... when folks mention brighter, they are usually talking about lumens when it comes to light... however, the 4300K factory HID bulbs emit about 3200 lumens... which provides the bightest light output.

Changing the temperature up or down from the fatcory 4300K will actually produce less light!

that's not true... 55watt ballasts and bulbs in the same color will be brighter than 35 watt ballasts and HIDs. , but they will also draw more current from your electrical system...

so to the OP, if you want the brightest light output, as phobs stated, you will need to get aftermarket 55watt ballasts and 44watt bulbs , but keep the bulb 4300K... if you want "whiter" light, then you can go with 5000K! just remember that in terms of lumens or brighteness, 4300K will give you the most light output!

So are stock HIDs 35w?

Would these work? I don't see a wattage

they will work, but 6000k will be LESS bright than your stock hid's. leave your stock in unless all you want to do is get a different color

for more power, but more power doesn't always mean more light output. 55w 10k bulbs will put out less lumens then 35w 5k bulbs.
