Has anyone bought an extended warranty? How much can I expect to pay for an additional 3yr 36k bumper to bumper. Still have 1yr 20k left on my 03 m45.

I got mine from Infiniti when I bought the car. To extend the warranty to 100k, 7 years. Was about $1800 $2000 as I recall ... I am not sure what it would cost now to add it to your car - your dealer may have more information (do haggle with them on it).

Third-party is definitely less expensive, but I have no idea what they would cost, or whether they would be as good as the Infiniti approach (no having to verify, checking for coverage of a given item, reman parts required in general, etc.)
