factory ecu?

i'm sure that there are differences between kae and kade ecu's, but are there any differences between the kade?i have a 93 240 that was an auto, but is now a manual. that still has the auto ecu. i get funny idles and revs when coming to a stop.i would like to get a manual ecu, but am unsure of the differences per year.i would imagine that all 91-93's are the same. less the 94 of course because it only came in auto. and the 95-98 would be different than the s13's?can i just get any 91-93 ecu or do i have to stick with the 93 only ecu?thanks everyone!

it seems as if any 91-93 will work, but still unsure.what's with the numbering system? (#28, #24, #23)

i have a ka24e and i tried the rev/speed limiter trick and cannot do it because its a e not a de so yes there is a difference with ecu's. i am trying to get the info to remove my speed limiter but i have yet to see it. this is of'course for the 89-91 models
