I assume your player works fine with original DVD's? If that's the case, I would try a high quality DVD-/+R first just to rule out if it is an issue with the DVD or not. I use Sony because it was the first brand I tried that didn't have half a spindle worth of discs going straight to the trash can. If there are still problems, try a different burner. Perhaps ask some friends to burn copies for you so you don't have to buy a new burner just to test it out. And lastly, test your discs in another Nissan/Infiniti Player if you have access; preferably from the same year or older. This might give you a good idea of how to best address the issue.
Frankly, I didn't like the factory player in the Titan so I ditched it and installed an Alpine DVD changer and replaced the existing screen with a compatible touchscreen unit.
