Has anyone had problems with their DVD players not wanting to play burned/copied media? My backups are not wanting to play, they skip and freeze up on me. They play in my home equipment just fine but not in my QX or my M45. I've tried different DVDs and software but just can't get these to work. I even tried a lens cleaner but nothing.

Just wanted to see if anyone out there has/had this issue.

I have not had any issues in either my Armada or my G37xS playing ANY DVD's. I know we have Cars and Finding Nemo that are both burned copies and they play perfectly fine. Sounds like there may be an issue with your player.

TIM what media are you using? I burned a couple movies on Imations and they work good compared to the last batch of Verbatims I'm having problems with.

I believe they are Imations, but I will double check.

Right. I think I'm going to switch and use them also. I have two of them that I used recently and I'm not having the problems like I was with the Verbatims.

I have several that are on "Liquid Video's" and those work perfectly as well.

I assume your player works fine with original DVD's? If that's the case, I would try a high quality DVD-/+R first just to rule out if it is an issue with the DVD or not. I use Sony because it was the first brand I tried that didn't have half a spindle worth of discs going straight to the trash can. If there are still problems, try a different burner. Perhaps ask some friends to burn copies for you so you don't have to buy a new burner just to test it out. And lastly, test your discs in another Nissan/Infiniti Player if you have access; preferably from the same year or older. This might give you a good idea of how to best address the issue.

Frankly, I didn't like the factory player in the Titan so I ditched it and installed an Alpine DVD changer and replaced the existing screen with a compatible touchscreen unit.
