How far apart should my Factory Crossbars be on my 2003 Infiniti QX4 for my Ocean Kayak Frenzy?

Not sure if this is a trick question...

Far enough apart to support your kayak. Not sure how many of us know the size / dimensions of a "Ocean Kayak Frenzy"... but if you have a tape measure, you should be able to make a quick adjustment and throw it on up there.

Range Rover factory crossbars in the link. ????

I'm reading this as the OP want's to put a yak on the roof. He's going to need crossbars (factory or otherwise) and yak mounts on top of those. Where to put the crossbars? I was checking out a couple of rigs in Monterey yesterday. One crossbar as far forward as possible, the other aft wherever it works.

Dunno if yak mounts are available for the factor crossbars.

Yakima and Thule probably make crossbars that will attach to the factory rails (I've done this with Yakima on '87, '95, and '01 PF), and they both have really nice yak mounts for their own bars (haven't done these bug have a seen a bunch in Monterey).

I have a Thule Kayak mount for Factory Rails/Crossbars no problem.
I was just wondering how far apart to put the crossbars.
Forward crossbar as far forward as possible sounds like a good answer.
Thank you.
