The first year Z33 (350Z) offered a color that looked like that, it was called Brickyard.

A former '92 and my current '90 have this color - dark cherry burgundy- is what it is called on early Qs.

My 93 J30 has the same color as well. Dealer original invoice is calling it Cherry (only).

Color code AX8 was an available color on 02-03 Q45's (Royal Cabernet Pearl), and the 2003 350Z (Brickyard).

Black Cherry Pearl (AH1) and Burgundy Berry (AH2) were available Q45 color selections for the 90-92 model years. Crimson Pearl (ALO) replaced Burgundy Berry in 1993 and was the final year for Black Cherry Pearl.
