The chrome is corroding, flaking and basically causing me a headache. That's cosmetic but I'll get over it.

However the insides are even worse & the beads are not sealing. I bought this Y34 used so I was not able to catch this in time but am left with the issue.

Can I just have the tires dismounted, scuff the tire bead areas and paint the insides to have any hope of salvaging them?

Also, one wheel was replaced...can I have that one dismounted, scuff and paint the inside of the wheel in attempt to delay new corrosion?

Finally, would filling the tires with nitrogen from new have kept this from happening?
