Factory CD player in an S13?
I didn't even know how to search for this, so I didn't.I love the look of a factory stereo (keeps d!ck from stealing).I was wondering if anyone has taken a factory CD player and installed it into a car that was never intended for it (S13)what kind of wiring was involved? Was it possibly as simple as connecting to an existing harness?

Do you have the factory radio? If so, the optional factory CD player that goes with it would be the easiest to install.

I do have the factory radio, with cassette. Was there an option to add a CD player?

Yes, the cd player was optional and fit in place of the storage pocket. Look on the back of your radio to see if you have the connector for it -- it'll be a round connector with about 6 pins.
