I found a person on Ebay that takes stock radios and adds a AUXiliary input. The AUXiliary input works only when a suitable plug is plugged into it and it shuts off the radio and plays the Auxiliary device, Vice versa when your remove the device.

Unfortunately he doesn't like people sending him radio's just for adding the AUXiliary input which is a shame really.

I do not think any first Gen ever got that feature. The last 2 years you could get DVD Navigation but I seriously doubt a car that was finally designed in 2000-2001 would have an Aux jack as MP3 players were all just coming out around then.

Best bet is to find a double-DIN replacement with an input jack. You will lose the trunk 6 CD changer but who cares now that you can use you MP3 player or use MP3's in the deck. You can do that for $300 bucks probably.......that is what I'm thinking of doing rather then spending more on GPS unit. I really want an direct iPod connector and to be able to read MP3's.
