feel free to flame me for this but :ohno:

the factory alarm on my TT Z32 is SUPER sensitive and it killed my battery once.... so i took out the fuse for the alarm and now my car wont start i know the battery is good b/c my stereo and headlights come on along with all of my dash lights when the key is turned to accessory  any correlation between the alarm fuse and the car cranking??

I don't have the exact answer, but it seems pretty simple to me. Plug the fuse back in and see if it starts???? If you want to disable the factory alarm you unplug the alarm module which is above the ECU on the passenger floorboard.

Yeah weird eh? Well the wood stops your passengers from kicking the electronics I guess.

You'll need to look a little higher in the dash. But not to much!! you will see the module is screwed between the frame and firewall.

See if this helps. Its the box immediately to the right of the ECU as soon as you remove the wooden foot board.

I believe that diagram is actually mistaken. The factory alarm is more "above" the ECU, held on with a metal bracket. What you unplugged is most likely the Transmission Control Unit.

Okay good, I'm glad someone else noticed the same thing. I also believe that is the wrong box.
