doesn't anyone know how to disable or bypass the factory alarm? please, it keeps going off and leaving me stuck plus someone's going to get my car towed if this keeps up. there's got to be a way to terminate it for GOOD.

yeah, its not hard. you have to trace every single wire from the alarm back to where it goes on the vehicle harness. once you find the wires that are on the ign cyl, cut them and reconnect them without the alarm in the way. once this is done you should be able to start the car. then you can rip out all the other garbage at your leisure.

ooops, just realized you are talking about a factory alarm. thats complicated. you MAY be able to but you will need a wiring diagram and some creativity.

ok, it is actually looking easier than i thought. remove theft warning relay #2 and install jumper wire or solder wires together from terminals 3 to 4. one wire is orange and one is black with a red stripe.that will allow the car to start with the theft warning sys bypassed.now we need to make it stop going off.

here is the location of the relay(s)

ok, to disarm the alarm i think you can just unplug the hood switch. do you see the hood switch in the little picture above? it says hood switch next to it. it has a two wire connector on it. its prob gray and rounded. unplug that and see if the theft warning sys ever comes on. it shouldnt.

leave it unplugged. that should keep the alarm from ever arming. you may not have to mess with the theft warning relay if the alarm never arms.
