Question - Does anybody know if the G37 Sport (AKEBONO) big brakes will fit with the factory 18" wheels that come on a 2009 M35x?? I know there is a template that I can use but I thought I'd ask first. I do plan on getting larger wheels but I want to retain the factory wheels for winter use with snow tires.

I have a 2007 M35x running the Akebono big brake kit. Not sure if the 18'' from 07 to 09 are the same but mines would not clear the calipers. I ended up switching to FX45 20'' along with wheel spacers. Most likely if your rims don't originally come with a big brake kit they will need spacers for clearance.

Yes, it does. I put the Akebono brakes on my 07 M35 with both 350Z and 370Z OEM 18 rims without spacer. Only need to consider the offset of rim spec.

But I'm pretty sure you will need spacer if go with original m35x 18 rims

370z rims are sport rims which were perfect because they are already set up for bigger brakes.
