Does anybody know if this size wheels will for properly on my 2002 Q45? 20in 5x114.3 with offset of 38?

Its around an 8in width (either 7.5, 8, or 8.5) it should be fine...

Obviously you must select a wheel with the correct hub bore [66mm] or secure metal adapter rings for each wheel.

Tech, do you REALLY think that you need the hubcentric rings?

Reason I ask, is that the hub does not bear any load on the wheel, rather it just centers the lug nuts..

my wheels are not hubcentric, and all I do is tighten the wheels unladen and in stages.. Like tighten 2 lugs just so they're engaged, and then put the rest on, torque, then torque again with the wheels on the ground.

Ultimately, the goal is that the lugs are centered about the lug nuts, and as long as you're careful in torquing the wheels, that should be good enough?
