F50 tire recommendations for an old man driver

Knowing that most of you are modders tweaking for performance (like I was years ago), there may not be too many who can relate to an old man driving his F50 around suburbia as a taxi for kids and a grocery hauler. But that is exactly what I am.

But does anyone have suggestions for tires that emphasize noise reduction and mileage - you know, typical old man stuff.

My car came with Dunlop Direzza DZ101 245/45 R18 - they are NOISY and I think make the ride a bit harsher than the car really is. I have become a big fan of Michelins in general. In the past with other cars I tried other brands, been disappointed and gone back to Michelins. Are Michelins OEM for the F50?

I've been pleased with the quietness of the Kumho Ecsta 4X tires I currently have on my Y33 - A night-and-day difference from the BFG G-Force A/S tires that preceded them.

I think Michelin is the route to take. Not a big fan of all-seasons but the Primacy mxv4 are nice. The Primacy itself is a good summer tire for dry and wet driving.

If behooves you to check out www.tirerack.com for tire options for your Q45. You will be able to read the performance reviews for the particular tire you're considering as well. A good set of All Season tires is the way to go for the Q45.

The new Pilot Sport A/S all seasons are pretty damn good. Better than some other brand's performance tires.
