That is the correct procedure for determining which tire is displayed. Overinflate one tire at a time and note where it is on your display, then make sure they are all re-set correctly.
FWIW, if you have a flat repair or any work done on your tires/wheels, make sure the shop is familiar with tire pressure sensors and knows how to protect them when breaking the bead on the tire. They are easily damaged, and expensive.
Also, when any aluminum wheels is removed and re-installed, be sure to have the lug nuts re-torqued in a star pattern after around 100 miles.
