Here's a video I took today:

So there's two problems, and they're the same. Though the wire count matches, neither the cruise/audio NOR the airbag connectors match up. So now to figure out how to tackle that, I want it clean.
FOR THE AUDIO AND CRUISE,
The M45's main harness connector (Female) is a 6 pin one lane connector, the Q45 uses a one lane 8 pin male connector. I would rather NOT modify the car's connector, so I am going to try to find an M45 connector (mine is installed currently and I want to do this in parallel) and swap the M connector onto the Q cruise/audio airbag assembly. That takes care of the audio/cruise, IF I can find the connector. I would rather not solder directly and want to remaind as stock as possible. Question is, how to tell which connectors are which? Both cars' assemblies have 2 wires on each side. The audio side also has a ground which grounds to the wheel. But, how do I know (colors don't match) which is positive and which is negative on each paddle? Can anyone answer this? ON the M, audio is green and black wires. On the Q, audio is red and [blue with silver dot]. How can I test which is which? Or does it not matter?
FOR THE AIRBAGS,
They are rather different. Wire count is the same and both the M and Q utilize a double lead (like most Nissans I think). On the M, they REMOVE from the airbag. On the Q, they do not, and instead both plugs go to a proprietary super connector. Well, I don't have that coming out of my M! I have only the two long separate plugs. These I sadly will have to cut and either find a Q connector to splice into and *connect* it, or solder the wires directly, and have to cut off my M connectors, AND the Q proprietary connector, and connect my leads directly to the perpetually seated plugs on the Q. I will upload some images so it makes more sense.
Important - can anyone tell me if polarity matters on the airbags (same question as above with cruise/audio paddles)??? Colors don't match, of course. I am worried to solder them incorrectly, connect the battery, and BOOM set off the airbag.
Can anyone suggest how I can do this? Thanks so much, when this is done, I will make a nice writeup so all the Y34 guys can move to the wood wheels!
(or buy my old stock M one, which is in good shape if yours isn't.
