Anyone know if there are FSTBs for us F50 guys floating around? The ghey stock FSTB is tits on a bull.

Also....looking for RSBs.

I'm just curious, since I don't have an F50, but the one on the Y33 is very nice, and the Y33 comes stock with RSTB as well, you sure your F50 doesn't have a rear bar? And since a strut bar is basically a strut bar, besides appearance, what's wrong with the stock one?

I recall the F50 strut bars are braces to the firewall, and are black pipe. Not very sexy. Kinda like the old Shelby Mustangs of the mid 6o's.

Who cares how it looks with the hood closed if it works? Maybe you have X-ray vision?

For reference, here's what the stock one looks like.

I wonder if you can close the hood with a cross brace? If you can, then a triangulated brace is the best you can ask for, use the stock two plus a cross brace. I built an RX-7 for ITA and bought the Racing Beat triangulated brace, but wasn't allowed to use the two bars that connect the firewall. In any case, that doesn't look bad to me, and it works, more than you may realize.

I think the stock FSTB on the '02+ Q would work better than the 2-point-of-contact ones that we always see. 3-point-of-contact is much sturdier than 2-point-of-contact.
