Hello. I never got around to doing my custom exhaust due to things coming up in the past. I know there are a few members on here that have a custom setup.

My question is what is the stock size of the pipe downpipe? 2 1/2'? Thanks

I think everyone including myself has only done the rear muffler. After the manifold, you have the secondary Catalytic converters and the second pair of O2 sensors.

Just the person I was looking for. Thanks for the reply. I was actually thinking about putting an electric exhuast cutout somewhere before the first muffler so that way im not really messing with anything and I can keep the car sounding stock 99% of the time which is my goal. Thats why I wanted to know if the piping is 2 1/2' or 2 1/4' THanks

The oem exhaust size on the 94 Q is only 1 7/8" diameter. Not sure of the newer model.

Why would one need more with duals and such a small displacement engine.

Always a good idea to measure after cat back pressure [at torque peak rpm and redline] to calculate whether all the work is worth any significant amount.

Based on the $100 per horsepower rule.

Im not doing it for horsepower, im doing it for the sound but like I said, I would like to keep my car sounding stock for 99% of the time.
