I saw another member of a different forum do it and liked the way it looked. Basically you remove the center console, remove the shifter trim piece and strip the fugly original grey paint off of it with aircraft remover. Polish it up nice with some metal polish (I used some left over wheel polish) and BLING! Looks like it was meant to be from the factory.
