In 2003+ F50s, the CD-Changer was moved to the lower dash below the clock. Does anyone know who manufactures this cd-changer?

I'm trying to determine if there is a similar unit that plays MP3s, so I can make a swap.

Your thoughts and comments would be greatly appreciated...

Very expensive to swap, as even the security system is different in 2003.

Personally, I prefer the magazines that one can change at once and not have to feed each CD into a slot one at a time nor eject them one at a time than find a place to put them so they won't be scratched.

Sometimes newer is not progress .

i agree... I hate the in dash CD changers, i much prefer the trunk mounted one that is in my Q..... My parents cars both have the in dash.

My 2003 M45 has a Clarion 6 disk changer (if the cartridge is the way to ascertain this! ) in the glovebox.

I suspect that the 2003+ Q45 has the same brand and maybe even model, but I am not absolutely certain of this!
