I would say stick with it, as you said you have alot invested why take such a big hit. What car are you going to drive next. Some suck *** fwd piece of ****? You know deep down your going to start to do the same thing to your next car so why not just stick with this one. It's hard to find a mint 240 now and days and yours seems pretty mint and low mileage. You think all of us tuners have fat savings accounts to fall back on. Most of us don't and every dime goes into our cars. It's an addiction but i think a justifiably good one. Just take a deep breath don the nike's for a week or two save up for a new turbo and boost into the sunset... You wont regret it. The only thing that i can see very discouraging is having to pay for a shop each time something major breaks. I just swapped out my turbo the other day. Its not that hard and im sure you have smaller hands than me which probably come in handy alot. (Pun Intended)

I would have to agree. But most importantly find a new set of friends, ones that will give you good sound advice, and also try and create a better relationship with people before you start doing business with them.

I feel your pain. I got my CA swap over 2 years ago and I still haven't gotten it out on the road (school and work suck up all my time; after going to school for cars, then going to a dealer to work on cars, by the time I get home I'm not really in the mood to go work on another car). Everyone I know is telling me to get rid of it, and I have virtually every penny I've earned in the past 2 years put into it. Not to mention the labor of the swap, wiring, welding, etc. But you can't give up. It gets discouraging at times, believe me, but you have to realise how badass it will be when it's all finished. My advice to you is just don't think about it for a while and save up money for a new turbo, then go back to it and I guarentee you'll be in love with it again and won't want to sell it anymore. If you are still going to sell it then best of luck to you.

Agreed. You weathered the storm a little while ago. I understand that you haven't made it out of the woods quite yet, but you made it this far just to eject? In my opinion, you should not give on on this project. If not for yourself, think about the way this community and how many lame folks there are out there that either have or want to get a Nissan S-Chassis. You will difinitely be kicking yourself if you quit now. Just my 2 cents.........

Looks like a very nice car. The only thing wrong is a turbo? I'm with the rest of the forum. I think you should just keep it. But good luck on your sale!

Hey, I'll jump in on this too. I understand this frustration of yours. Nobody knows better than me about taking huge losses like this. I also urge you to hold on to it. If you're really mad about everything that's been goin on with it, I say that the best thing to do is to take a long break from the car. Do what you can to find somewhere to keep / store the car. Do you have a garage available??? Someone, friends or family, that will let you keep the car at their place for a while??? Try and get another car, cheap or not, for yourself in the meantime. When some time goes by, be it a few months or even a year or two, come back to your project. Time will heal your wounds...
