Nope, not the wrong place. Boots are a rarity and the vert forum can appreciate a thread dedicated to the sale of said gem.

That being the case, you've only got 5 posts, guy. That's not enough to post in the classifieds section - if I'm not mistaken so tread lightly. Pictures and some verification that this isn't a con would help you sell it better.

In conclusion, I'll give you $200 shipped.

It is coolwhip.

The OP's been around for almost a year. He's obviously not signing up to NICO to offload some junk.

The spirit of the 10 post rule is to keep spammers from signing up to offload their inventory and then leaving. This guy isn't really one of those types.

Pics of the boot will help a lot, though.

I just figured that it should have been posted in the stickied Vert-Specific classified thread... Its not technically the classifieds, so he doesnt need 10 posts, but it is a specific place to sell Vert-Only items.

I just figured I'd point him in that direction. i wasn't trying to be a d**k.

In conclusion: I'd love to buy it, but I am too in debt and need to get the car running first.

Edit: You'll have to give me a little time to adjust to the Vert forum... I am so used to 240gen where anyone and everyone comes in there and posts stuff that gets locked so quick because they're not following rules, that its the norm to e-punch somebody in the face and tell them what they're doing wrong. though I try to do it without the aggression.

You'll get use to the vert forum pretty quick.

Theres a lot more leniency here because the vert members are mature enough to handle it.

I've noticed. I already like you guys better.

Like for instance... in 240gen, people would flame TIMELESS for the skyline conversion because its not S-chassis parts and he's "trying to make it something its not."

I think its gorgeous.

though i don't usually like when people do it. (but thats because it doesn't Usually turn out good.)

But yeah... back on topic!

i agree that the 240forums really don't like changes/a face lift up, , thats why i like the vert forum better, it makes me feel happy

Just an FYI, I didn't think I needed the boot, afterall, I threw mine away before I got a garage and had no place to store it (idiot, idiot, idiot) But after AZHitman graciously sold me his for three magic beans I can't imagine not having one. The top's not been up in a long time.

The retainer piece is not installed (old, brittle) but the boot stays on at highway speeds with just the snaps and a tuck on the front.

Good luck to whoever gets it.

Wow. Remind me to think of that when I complain about the price I paid.
