EZ lube dudes obviously deny it's not their fault, but it never happended before. they think air flow meter went out, but why right after they worked on it?

Askthem to describe to you how they changed the oil.

If they talk about changing from top ( which is not the approved way for this car) .Then you knows its their fault.Lots of stories of MAF problems from chaning oil from top w/ disconnecting MAF.

I always say at least 3 times to change from bottom if I ver go anywhere.

Not if all they're going to do is read off the error code. You can do that in about 15 minutes. "Diagnostics" and "service" are pretty broad terms. Make sure you know what you're getting, in detail.

Try to look around under the hood to see any unplugged connector. I forgot to reconnect one of the connector and the check engine soon light came on.

How does the car drive? A bad MAF connection will cause serious driveability problems.

Sounds like a MAF to me. If you can get in there, wiggle the sensor and see if that helps at all.

Yeah, they aren't kidding about wiggling the MAF. I checked my air filter when I first got the car, and made it run like crap. I had to unplug it again and clean all the contacts and reconnect it with dielectric silicone to waterproof it.
