Eyelids-painted or unpainted?

I was looking at the eyelids i just ordered and the color they came in isnt so bad I was looking a couple of extra opinions on whether i should paint them or not

I'm sorry. I can't get into the painted lids. I know that the shape of the current eyes are not as good as they could be, but paintingthem to me looks silly. They just don't look like they are supposed to be there to me. I'm of the opinion that if you do something to a car it should look like it came that way from the factory...otherwiseits just a lame attempt. They look like a bandaid....not a realclassy fix. Just my opinion.

I must be weird, k, I am but for some reason that just doesn't do it for me, most people like it I just don't, I really think it looks cheap, i don't know why...but hey i am 1 in 20

The whole point of an eyelid (which is different from an overlay) is to "visually" extend the edges of the hood. So of course in order to do that effectively they should be painted to match the hood.
