ey guys, i need yalls opinion on a ka-t build...

so check this out. im so ready to turbo my car, and i realize you have to rebuild the ingen internals in order to push 15 pounds, or w/e in that range. but i heard your ok to turbo a n/a ka24de at about 5-7 pounds of boost. is this true. if it is , im gonna doit.

however i question my ingen. im gonna just lay it out there for yall. i have an overheating problem which is getting fixed, and i have an idle problem. EVERY NOW AND THEN when i come to a stop the idle needle will fluctuate down wards leeding to a stal. but not all the time. i was told its the iacv. and the thing i question the most is this rubbing noise. it sounds like it could be the cams or that chain. im thinking valve job.??? over all its a strong motor but what do ya'll think.? i need honest opinions cause i dont wanna spend a grand turboing a car that cant be turboed....

On stock internals, you can push 15lbs. With aftermarket internals it will help if you want to get more boost. And as far as all of the problems, if your car has problems now, then a turbo will only compound the problems. Extra heat, cyclender pressure ect.ect.. So if it was me then i would get all of the problems taken care of. But thats just me

thanx, i preciate that. NE other opinions??? ya'lls opinion will determine what i do. oh. and another thing. if i was to get a brand new ka24de, could i take the old one out and put in the new one without any extreme problems???

sticky steve is right on the money.and a little better english will do good too.There is a thread about going ka-t too. read it.it helped me when i was GOING to go ka`t but i figured an ls1 is in my book
