hey in a couple of threads i heard of this extrude hone can someone explain this to me and also does anyone know where to get this service in NY/NJ?????

Extrude Honing is the smoothing process of a cast piece. Its good to do but you can get the same gains from buying a cheap Megan Manifold. I gained 25whp with mine.

basically they pump this puty stuff through what ever you want and it smooths it mirror smooth.

its kinda expensive, but if you hone your manifold you have a cast iron manifold that flows like a ss tublar counterpart.

Agreed. When I buy injectors, I plan on having this done to my manifold. I will also have it ceramic coated to keep more heat in the exhaust (better spool, more power).

**EDIT**Just checked the website, it's $450 for a 4cyl exhaust manifold. F that, I'll just buy a megan header...

lol, like i said. its expensive....but all things considered once you hone an iron manifold you won't have to worry at all about cracks and such.
