Extremely rich, need input please

Discuss the RB20, RB25 and RB26 series engines.

My wideband is showing that im running extremely rich alway through the rpm range. At idle im at 14-1 and under full throttle im completely maxing out the AEM UEGO it reads 10-1 , at cruise it reads between 12.5 and 14. Ive got the FPR set according to the fsm at 44psi no vacume. Should i try lowering the fuel pressure or should i look elsewhere for answers? Also how do you identify the injectors?

Thats not extremely rich, thats more normal than anything. Lowering fuel pressure wouldn't really solve or help your situation. Do you have anything to tune with?If its the stock ECU on a stock motor with minor flow mods, that sounds about right, the ECU targets a richer fuel mixture under load to keep EGT's and A/F in a safe area of the fuel map.

I lowered my fuel pressure when I was running rich numbers and it helped just fine.

The only mods to the engine are 2.5 inch exaust and a r34 gtr fmic. I have a SAFC NEO but I have never tuned with one, so im kinda hesitant(sp?) to attempt to tune it myself.

What FPR are you using? I need to make sure I'm at the same PSI
