3rd. just going to throw in my suggestion for a car, a late model audi tt quattro, good gas mileage, 225 horse turbocharged, and AWD. so good times
just checked out the tt..can't see myself driving one. It looks like a sporty vw beetle..like a rich prom queen's car. The 08 on the other hand are absolutely gorgeous. I wish i could afford a 3.5 a/c...would solve ALL of my problems.

thank you. i'll have to check with my parents though. a few family friend's went to Poland for this program and they said that if you go there with a AS degree in biology it will only take 4 years and then you come back to America for your residency OR you could go with a bachelors degree in premed and just go to Poland for 2 years. one guy already completed the program and is doing his residency in Chicago. so my parents want me to do the same thing as them. i have to get more details from them but i'll definitely keep in contact. thank you

it all comes down to my ration and irrational sides. My rational side knows a new 2.5 will last me through college easily, is better on gas, and is fast enough. Its still sporty looking and has four seats and more trunk than a z. Its also better in the winter/rain b/c its fwd. My irrational side loves to speed, being the first one moving when the light turns green, having my friends and people on the road envy me, and actually own my dream car. And i know these are only important temporarily while I'm young, but you only live once right? My parents also don't want me to get a used car, and finding it is impossible. I think i answered my own question, an a/c is just the right way to go. Goodbye 350z =/

i got my 3.5se a couple months after i turned 19 as a late birthday present. when i turned 18 and got my license, i was driving my mom's 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5s stick shift and i know a lot of people talk about how its a slow 4 cylinder but it really did FEEL faster then my 3.5se Altima coupe with CVT. so fi you get the 2.5s you MUST get it in stick shift and if you learn to drive it well, it'll be pretty fast (plus it takes regular unleaded gas lol)

I was in a similar situation as you on which car I was going to buy I looked at used 350z's G35's or a new Altima Coupe 3.5'se.

The problem is with used G's and Z's odds are the owner beat the **** out of them. The ones that don't keep them. I decided on getting a car with a warranty on it. I explored many things, looked high and low for a good deal. Ultimately understand this with the 3.5VQ engines service costs more at least double with the 2.5 does. Also there is insurance when I looked around my insurance company quoted me higher for a G then the Z or AC, why because of the infiniti name. The only logic I could see was that its a luxury brand.

Also you are 17/18/19, young men with a sports car = bad idea, generally. I am not sure how mature you are, but fast cars and youth does not mix. I know I was a little speedy when I was younger.

Get the 2.5 its headache free for the next 5 years.

daily driver the 2.5 is perfect its a 4 and its fwd=less power but better gas and it can be used in the winter

ive heard from alot of g guys that it sucks on gas and it wont move wen it snows.....but if u want a sports car buy that i love all 3 but overall 2.5 is smarter to get as a first car and as a daily car more economical

The 2.5 is torquey and definitely holds its own on the road. You say you wanna be the first off the lights? The 2.5 can do that. You wanna be the envy of other drivers on the road? The 2.5 can do that too! It's a stylish car with a (reasonably) practical engine that rarely disappoints, if ever. I was reasonably mature for my age when I was 17, but when I got behind the wheel of my buddies Trans-Am it was as if I'd eaten five whole bowls of STUPID for breakfast...Test out the 2.5 (IN A STICK!!!!!) and you really won't be disappointed.

BTW, kudos to your folks for helping you out. If mine had done something like that (and believe me, they could have...), I probably would have put more effort into school.
