external wastegate adapter

I need to make one of these to run an external wastegate with my t3/t4. Like what cyris3d made or like this:

Problem is I don't know what tubing to make it out of. I can't find square tubing to match the t3 flange. I was going to use round and massage it into shape. I'd like to make it stainless, would 16 gauge tubing be strong enough, or should I make it mild steel? any suggestions?

just get 4 peices of mild steel and make a box....then weld it together. thats what I will be doing in the next few weeks when I get to that point. I am also going to make a brace for the turbo to take some stress off of the turbo adapter.

Why not just put the flange onto the manifold itself? Sounds like it's just about the same amount of work.
