I was planning on installing an external transmission cooler to a friend's Armada that is still under factory coverage, however I was informed that it would automatically void the warranty. Is that true? If so, does Nissan have an external transmission cooler to offer as an option that would still maintain warranty coverage?

Why not call nissan USA and get an official answer- better yet E mail them so you have a permanent record of reply incase questions come up later regarding warranty issues.
