Exterior Trim Removal?

Just joined this forum and don't even have a car yet. Going to look at a 280Z this weekend in hopes to purchasing it. My apologies if my questions are a bit

The car I'm interested has exterior trim that breaks up the beauty of the body lines. If I purchase the car I would like to remove but wondered if there were holes in the body from the trim or if not how they could be removed without damage to the paint?

Most of these were dealer installed and riveted on, so to remove them would leave holes in the body. Pull out the rubber bit and you should see screw hears or more likely rivet heads.
