Hey there and Welcome to NICO! Glad to have you aboard
The 06+ M is my personal favorite Infiniti , this however is not uncommon. In my opinion it has to do with lack of insulation inside the doors. I think that Infiniti was trying to save weight where they can and by not using sound deadening material on the outside door shell it actually acts like a ported box and amplifies sound frequencies.
I do not know of a factory fix. If it bothers you enough you may want to think of getting something like Dyna-Mat on the inside of the doors. It may also improve sound quality inside the car.
Have any other owners found a solution to this issue?
