Hey everyone. I was hoping to complete all my harness work before I put the engine in. Less down time that way. Anyway, I had a couple questions (even after looking at the srswap and nismo.org sites).

First, below is a link to a picture of my harness. I know I need to extend the wiring for the MAF and stuff 3 feet or so, but where do I do that extension (1, 2, 3, or other from the picture)? Also, for those that have done this themselves, how much did you extend it (3', 3.5', etc)?

Second, do you have to extend the plug that goes to the dash when you replace it with the KA plug?

Any other tips are also appreciated. Thanks!

Reklaw, you need to unwrap the part of the harness starting at number 1 to get the MAFS, AC and PS wires. Furthermore, you need to unwrap the harness on the other side all the way to the injector leads so you can extend the 02 sensor wires and the ignitor wires. I had all mine separated out and rewrapped them individually so each plug has it's own wrapping on all of it's wires. I suck at explaining, but if you don't get it, hit me up on AIM.

And yes, you will need to cut and extend them white plug going to the dash. Lesbian connectors no worky...

Thanks Keyy! Everything you said actually makes sense. I especially like the idea of wrapping everything separately. Keeps it nice and clean.
