Extended warranty

What do any of you think of going with the extended warranty 7 years 100,000 miles? I can get the 0 deductible for $ 1,900 and the $100 deductible for $ 1,600. I have had Volvos before that had some costly repairs in the 80k mile range...no experience with Infinity. I have the 07 G35X

You purchased the car vs leasing I assume? How long do you actually plan to drive it for (year range wise)? How well do you service your car (air filter/oil changes/breaks/fluids/tire rotation)?

I plan on doing the schedule 2 maintenance, mostly highway miles.I just have no experience with the cost of repairs. For example the Volvo had the master cylinder and ABS control all in one that was about $ 1,200 to replace.

Japanese parts WILL BE MORE EXPENSIVE compared to GM/Volvo/Furd.

I would be more worried about electronics. 80% of extended warranty buyers are extremely happy they purchased [from history of Infiniti back to 1989...........my personal sample].

Failure to flush brake system annually will bite you after warranty with earlier HARD failures!

Most systems last beyond 100k since that is design criteria.
