Extended Warranty question
I bought the Versa used and the factory warranty is about to run out. I,m thinking about buying the Nissan extended warrany. It seems I can buy that cheaper than some of the other warrany companies are selling policies. I know most of you here bought your cars new but I thought I would get opinions before I leep.

Can you extend your warranty through Nissan now?
I extended it at the time of purchase to 7 years. 3 years was too short for me ...
If you can extend and feel you need to, then I would go for it.

Most people I know of (on here) that have reached 100k miles haven't done a lot of warranty work. Those beyond it, still haven't done much. So, on a general note, it may not be a good purchase. But, if it brings you piece of mind, it is a worthy investment. i bought the extended warranty (100k miles) when I bought mine last year just to make sure the engine and trans would make it that long.
