I purchased an extended warranty yesterday through Modern Infiniti for my 2011 M56S with 74,9** miles on it. It was through some company called AUL and the guy at the dealership said that Allstate backs the company. Well I decided to do some research on this company today and WOW you should see all the complaints against them for stealing money and being scam artist. I am going to cancel this warranty because I don't want to deal with hassle from them regarding any repair issues I hope never happen. What warranty companies do those of you use that have bought extended warranties for your M's? I already have a extended warranty from the dealer I purchased my car through that covers all engine, transmission, and rear axle issues. I purchased this warranty to cover the electrical components, but it also covers the engine, transmission, and rear axle. Any other companies I should look at?

I bought one but never used it in my M45 - got really lucky.

Everyone here will tell you to get an Infiniti Elite. May want to check out the thread some one started about what you ought to pay for an extended warranty - I checked out prices at a few Infiniti dealers: Infiniti of Scottsdale used to have some of the best prices for it around, but that is not the case necessarily. I think I checked out a dealer on the east coast and they came in a few hundred cheaper. The prices go up with the more miles you have on your ride and for the length of time/mileage you want coverage. I intended to get one before 60k on my M37, but I blew by that milestone awhile ago - will need to look at prices before i hit 70k

You have one electrical thing go wrong on your car and the warranty should pay for itself.

here's the thread: m56-aftermarket-warranty-t608739.html

FWIW, my wife's 2012 Durango's extended warranty was through AUL - they've been great: had to replace the entire small block at around 52K, coolant leak, cylinder head warped...probably over $5000 in parts/labor/rental car fees. Didn't pay a cent. Bought the car used as 26k, about $1400 for a 6y/100,000 mile warranty...

Yep, get the elite. $100 deductible and virtually everything is covered. I spent like $2,800 on it and it saved me from a $5,000 expense.

As for dealers...the Y50 guys used to get it from Infiniti of Scottsdale as stated above or Circle Infiniti in NJ (the east coast one Doc was probably referring too).

I bought an Infiniti Elite warranty from Infiniti of Scottsdale. It essentially provides the same coverage as a Certified Pre-owned warranty would. That dealer has good prices and you can buy it over the phone. My contact there is Courtney Mutema. Her email is [email protected] and her phone # is 480.941.0055 ext 2351.

Yep, Courtney is the girl most have talked to. Daniella used to be the girl at Circle Infiniti but last I knew she wasn't there anymore.

Actually, the Elite is a much better coverage with fewer list of exclusions than the CPO plan...
I recommend it....

Agreed, I bought my '14 as a CPO and elected to purchase the Elite warranty on top of the CPO coverage.

I did something similar, except I told them to not certify it (save some money) and I'll get the elite instead (a little more money).
