so i bought these flat black p45r's from a nico member and finally got tires but i still need lug nuts. now the whole point of extended lug nuts is so you can fit the socket on right? because my stock lug nuts fit in the whole where they go but theres no room for a socket. so im looking at extended lug nuts and notice some dont have the design going all the way to the top. therefore arent they useless? unless im completely wrong on how they work.example:example of design on the whole thing:

now for the color. which do you like better. the blue, the chrome, or just plain black. i like the blue because if i decide to paint my rims white, takata green, or blue they'd look cool. but it might look like an american flag with the black, red and blue. heres a picture of my rimsand my car

You do not need extended lug nuts. Most 'tuner' lug nuts come with a socket that will work with any wheel.

Extended lug nuts are mostly a style thing nowadays, or to hide extended studs.

Do you have the longer nismo studs? If not just get normal tuner lugs.

if you have the extended lugs and/or was absolutely necessary I would go black with those wheels. shiny chrome, on flat/matte finished wheels doesn't look good imo

yeah tuner lugs meaning they need a special socket to remove, kinda helps to stop losers from taking your wheels. I didn't believe people could take your wheels with out a jack till I saw it done.
