I blew my radiator fan up at school in the parking lot. I was revving my engine and then at about 6000 it went pow and paint shot up from my hood and now I have a outward dent on my hood. And the metal is stretched. it cut my tps wires and my MAF wires. I made it home, which is about 25 miles, and soldered the wires and started it up and it ran fine. I now have no radiator fan, or shroud. My brother killed his '92 sentra so I took the fans off of that. I put them up against the radiator and they fit so nicely. I was wondering if I was going to wire them up to a thermostat how should I go about doing this? I dont want to wire them to my fuel pump or anything like one of the how-to section articles say. I am thinking I need a thermostat, wire, push-in fan mounting hardware, a relay. what temp should the fans turn on? They sell kits but they might not sell them at autozone. any advice would be greatly appreciated.
