Hi Everyone,

I'm a newbie to the forum...but not a newbie to Nissan or Infiniti, I have a 240sx LE since 1999 and a M35x since 2008. The cars built in Japan are amazing and reliable.

I was looking for your expert opinion and advise. I am looking to upgrade either to a 2013 M56XS/2014 Q70XS or a 2015-2019 (Q70S or Q70L).
I love the look of the front on the sport model...adding the sport package makes the car look more aggressive inside and out than the regular trim.
I like the backseat space in the Q70L the extra 6 inches would help with 2 growing boys...also I feel stretching the car makes it look better from the side...like BMW 7 series or S class Mercedes.. the newer 2015 re-design front and back looks nice too but not as nice as the sport bumper.

I don't drive much maybe 6000Km-8,000km a year each car and maybe would need AWD it snows here in Ontario/Quebec unless I get really good set of snow tires.
For the 2013 M56XS/2014 Q70XS the recall for the timing chain I assume would fix the oil issue ? are there other issues with engine? other common issues?

Also wondering how much I would be a good price for a good condition/well maintained 2013 M56XS/2014 Q70XS versus a 2015-2019 (Q70S or Q70L)

So I'm kind of torn between deciding what year to get before I start looking for one. Would appreciate your thoughts, recommendations, input and opinions. Thank you for your help!!

As someone who went from a 14 Q70S to a Q70L, I would also recommend the 15-19 Q70/Q70L

2015 Q70L driver here in Toronto.

My advice is to start looking, they're rrare as hell here in Canada. I don't even think autotrader has a V8 listed in the country.

That being said, the V8 is only available on the L with awd in the great white north....and honestly im not sure if the sport is even sold.

So at least you don't have too many decisions to make lol.

Mine below is basically the maxed out version you can get in Canada with the V8. You can get 20s and the sport brakes, but not the suspension/extra lip/spoiler....oh, the only extra thing I don't have are the mudflaps.
