Ok, so I called Nissan to check for recalls on the 1998 Pathfinder I just bought, and there is 1 recall. I wanted to take it in and have them check for the O2 sensor reprogram anyways... So, anyone in So Cal have a dealer they like or dislike?

I had mixed experiences with 2 OC dealers when I had my S13, but things change...

All of them in SD are blood-sucking leeches For example, a bottle of Pennzoil 80w-90 differential fluid for your Pathfinder is about $3 at any auto parts store (I went to worldwide)

The same exact bottle is $12 at the dealership

Sometimes prices vary between dealers - i was checking in-cabin air filters and one dealer wanted $75 and another wanted only $25... what a discrepancy!! but dealers will be dealers.... its like that everywhere

I'm not sure on Nissan dealer out here but the Infinity dealer in Thousand Oaks is OKAY. I bought my QX4 from the one in Glendale on Brand and they were pretty good with service. All I know is that the one in T.O. charges $350 to replace the clock in my car, it's not broken, that's just the price. Ohh yeah the tiny light bulbs that go in it are $30 a piece, I just replaced one. And they charge $300 a head lamp plus another $300 per ballast. I'm not sure if these prices are normal but they seem pretty ridiculous to me.
