It is 12v. I was just stuck on the sensor wire readings because that is what matters. You are probably getting 9v because your battery is low.

It doesn't really matter how much power you are getting at the sensors but how much is on the signal wire of the sensor. As stated before tps should be .45v closed and between 4-5 open. You need to get a fsm it will answer all your questions.

Did you even try what I posted previously? Record the voltages with both the stock ecu and power fc.

TPS gets 5v reference from the ecu, but don't worry about this, its not causing your starting issue. The MAF should be getting battery voltage 11-12v.

I still havent had the chance to work on the car any.... what other wiring should i be looking at? I have 12volt at the ecu.

ok, so found out the wiring for the tps is wired backwards.....rewired and the tps is bad......the check engine light would go on and off if I play with the throttle. Im looking for another q45 tps right now. Do you guys think this is cause of my starting/running problem on my power fc?

Also check if your speedo works. Mine was so screwed up I had to send it in.

Have you guys had any experience of a bad tps being bad and cause it not to run on pfc? Speensor plug is not hooked up to the transmission yet, so I cant really say...

Did you check the voltages of the tps signal wire to confirm that the sensor is bad?

yes, voltage output would not change when i would turn the tps manually.....

I'm not sure if that would cause the problems you are having but you need to replace it anyway.

How did you find out the tps wiring was bad? Did you test or did chasebays tell you what to do?

i test it out....funny thing is that check engine light does not go on with the stock ecu..... but it does with the pfc----goes on/off as i modulate the throttle. This is after i switch the wiring around.

I changed my throttle body from a rb25 to an I30 so I could have cruise control. The tps wiring is reversed on these because the sensor is on opposite sides of the TB. The first time I ran the car with the new TB and wrong wiring, it ran the same as before! When I checked to see if the wiring was reversed, I was sure it did not need to be changed because the car ran so well. All this to say I don't think a bad tps will cause as big a problem as you are having.

So we test out the pinout at the ecu....the pins for the sensor were backwards at the ecu.... Now it starts and idle on the pfc now....

chasebay didnt offer much help in resolving.... so after about 30hr into this, its finally fixed :/

Yeah they sent me another harness that was messed up so I sent mine back and requested a refund. It's awesome when you order something and 4 months later it still isn't right.

really sorry about your situation man. we had to switch the wires around at the tps, the maf, and at the ecu pinouts :/

Yeah they sent me back a harness with plugs for a series 1 ignitor when mine is series 2, it had a series 2 tps connector when I sent my q45 connector in to be put on, and the wiper amp and motor plugs were mismatched.
